A thought on… VULNERABILITY

Vulnerability helps us to be authentic, to express our emotions and how we feel in a natural way. Embracing vulnerability fosters genuine relationships and builds trust.

In our personal lives, vulnerability is the glue that deepens the bonds of friendship. Friends can offer support, understanding, and a profound sense of connection that strengthens the foundation of their relationship.

At work, people often fear being vulnerable due to concerns about judgment from peers or other leaders. Vulnerability can be seen as a sign of WEAKNESS and it can jeopardise professional image. There is a perception that successful business people should be strong, tough, or resilient.

Being vulnerable at work requires a lot of courage. Be brave and promote a culture of vulnerability. Be ready to open up. Be ready to face discomfort.
