Books… they’re an amazing innovation inspired from 1450 wherein Johannes Guttenberg invented an innovative method of printing books on a large scale. From that moment, books became a source of knowledge for many people, not just priests and monks.
Our continuous learning and development process has always been associated with books. Books can act as a point of reflection or a source of inspiration. The content of the book, the questions asked by the author and sometimes even the different perspective provided can present stimulus and the start of a new or different idea. Also, even when we’re tired at the end of a productive day or when we’re enjoying a vacation with our family; books can aid rest and relaxation.
Throughout the last decade, we developed new ways of experiencing reading. Having a physical books in our hands gives us an amazing feeling, but it’s not the only available option. Now, we can enjoy e-books; when we travel, we can take hundreds of them with us. If there is a new release, there is no need to rush to the closest bookstore – all we need is a wi-fi connection to download it straight it our e-library. Audiobooks are another great invention, as we can listen to them when we’re travelling, walking or working out.
