I’M OFFLINE

We live in super interesting times. Technology has changed the way we engage and communicate with others. Digital and A.I. impact every daily activity of our personal and professional lives. It brings lots of excitement and opportunities for both realms.

On the other hand, people are permanently busy, and they stay connected every second. We don’t get any relief, and we are on a golden technology chain. Many of us are online 24/7. It’s driven by FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), our addiction to technology, unhealthy focus on a professional career, or unrealistic expectations at work. Be sure that being online all the time is the highway to burnout. The question is not “IF” but “WHEN” you will enter a burnout zone.

To maintain balance and manage your energy levels, you need to have a time when you disconnect — a time when you are OFFLINE and focus entirely on your health and your family, friends, or hobbies.

You have to take action and define your boundaries. Your LIFE, your RULES! Nobody else can do it for you. You need to set up time for being online and OFFLINE. Analyze your daily routines, your preferences, your personal needs, and your responsibilities. Based on this, define the online and offline times. Once they are fixed, you need to communicate them to your family and at work.

Being OFFLINE is nothing wrong. It will help you maintain your balance, mental health, and stay away from the burnout zone.

Don’t be afraid of being OFFLINE. It’s good for your mental health, and it’s good for you.
