One picture says more than a thousand words.

In THEORY, being a leader is a simple and straight forward task: you need to focus on team management, and all will be nice and easy. 

In REALITY, team management is the most challenging area of responsibility of any leader. 

We deal with: different people, personalities, career aspirations, and levels of engagement.

There are both newcomers, and people who want to resign. A ‘Team’ is a dynamic structure. 

Some team members are highly motivated and engaged, while others are passive and disengaged. 

I am not even going to mention the impact that working from places other than the office has on team alignment and collaboration. 

Focus on your team culture – team purpose. It will help you to create a team spirit; the spirit of a winning team.
